MILAN AS THE SETTING FOR THE PRESENTATION OF OUR NEW IMAGE

Between 5 and 10 October, Milan has hosted the EMO machine-tool fair - the most important international event in the industry.

We cannot think of a better occasion to show you the result of a project that we have been working on for a long time: a complete makeover of our image. After 63 years, we are showing you a brand that is adapted to our current times and as we explained to you in a previous article.

A makeover that goes beyond the logo: we are using a new slogan and brand positioning, changing our tone of voice and messages, using our corporate colours in another way and where the language of photography becomes key to communicate the potential and precision of our machines.

Our stand has been the setting for the launch of this new image, much more faithful to what we really are and to what has enabled us to compete for all these years: our firm commitment to and belief in EDM technology.

As a result, we are using a new brand slogan that talks precisely about that, about EDM, about our essence as a company and as a brand: WE ARE EDM. A mantra that is assumed and shared by all and which has presided our stand. In that space we have sought to reflect our transparent and simple nature where white stands out over the rest so that the photographs of flawless parts made by our EDM machines can be displayed without limitations.

Among the novelties displayed at the stand, the new ONA AV35 attracted the most attention from visitors. As an example of the high-level of precision and final surface quality offered by this new generation of machines, a turbine disc with a fir tree structure mounted on a divider plate was exhibited inside the worktank. If up until now the only technology certified to cut these types of parts was broaching, from now on it is also possible to manufacture them using the new generation of ONA AV wire EDM machines, with the advantage that the investment cost is lower and the manufacturing process is more flexible and profitable.

Last of all, we would like to sincerely thank all the people who visited our stand for the interest they showed in our products, and would like to say that it has been a pleasure to be able to meet and assist them in person.
