Here’s how it works: The system automatically initiates a backwashing cycle whenever the unit’s pressure switch signals that the filter vessel is at capacity. During this cycle, Aquaprima supplies clean, filtered water to the EDM dielectric tank, this ensuring an uninterrupted supply of clean water. When the system completes a pre-programmed number of backwashing cycles, it automatically begins the sludge removal cycle, emptying the solids into a sludge bag. An alarm sounds when the sludge bag reaches capacity.
