In such a complex economic situation as the present, companies are facing a very big challenge that will be difficult to overcome. How can they have the most up-to-date technology with such few possibilities for investment?
Faced with this problem, ONA offers its clients a very profitable and high quality solution: retrofitting.
The cost of the total retrofitting of a machine can be up to 50% cheaper than purchasing a totally new one with similar characteristics. This percentage varies depending on each machine model. As a rule, we can say the there are greater savings the larger the dimensions of the machine that requires technological updating, as the machine’s structure is the main element that is used for retrofitting.
ONA’s retrofitting service can be considered as an alternative with denomination of origin, which allows for combining quality and good prices, as the retrofitting is carried out by the same company that originally designed and manufactured the machine that is going to be retrofitted, in short, the company that knows the machine best.
The machine retrofitting process is carried out in ONA’s central production unit, in Durango (Vizcaya), where the up-to-date assembly and control means are used. After the retrofitting, each machine is laser tested, checking that the positioning of each axis complies with VDI 3441 standards. Likewise, each machine is subjected to a check on the circularity according to ISO 230-4. In short, their precision and quality is tested in the same way as if they were new machines.
A machine can be retrofitted or technologically updated partially or totally.
