BIG COMPANIES WANT BIG SOLUTIONS

The company Thales, which specialises in the aerospace, transport and defence industries, has chosen ONA Electroerosión's technology for its 3D printing project, signing a purchase agreement to buy the ONA AF35 machine.

The ONA AF wire EDM machines are renowned for offering accurate, automated solutions, and for their high cutting speed. Their low maintenance cost, thanks to ONA's patented AquaPrima eco-friendly filtration system, make them one of the most cost-effective options, with outstanding quality. Additionally, the ONA AF range is known for its great versatility, perfect for performing a variety of types of jobs. It also includes the state-of-the-art ONA-W64 CNC, allowing six-axis control. A great example of the most advanced technology, with maximum productivity.

For ONA, this latest purchase by Thales is a great reward for our total dedication to finding the best solutions for the world's leading companies.

By using 3D printing, the French group aims to reduce development and manufacturing times for its metal alloy parts used in aeronautics and space. Being part of this project, thanks to our ONA AF35 machine, is yet another success story and it drives us to continue working on the innovation and development of new technologies.

The Thales group operates in 50 countries. It has around 68,000 employees and generates revenues of 13 billion euros. It has been ranked as the 485th largest company by the magazine Fortune and it is the ninth biggest defence contractor in the world.
